Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way

So, the joyous festive time is here and everyone must be stressed out about decorating their homes and making it spic and span. I’m NO exception and started hunting for the latest themes this year across the ocean of sites (*thanks god for internet invention*) The ultimate mission: To make my home the most sought one in town! Well who doesn’t want a little pat on their back and appreciation ;)

Here are a few things that I stumbled across. Ideally, I would have kept this top secret and zipped my mouth about this.. But then, its Christmas and its all about ‘sharing and caring’ and all the blah blah! So here goes!

Well, according to my trusted fashion gurus, Light Green and Silver is the combination for this season! Yeah Baby! Am I going to make my home look like it is out of a Robert frost poem! For this, the silver cushion cover here, can be a great addition to my sofas. I am so getting these man!

Oh and whats Christmas without a tree? This is what we call a perfectly decorated tree? Isn’t it adorable? This year I’m honestly attempting to make my home look like THIS one.

My favorite thing about this Christmas season is the blend of rustic metals to the traditional things like tree or wreath. Precisely why stuff with a glint of copper, bronze, gold, and pewter catch my eye immediately. No wonder I am totally drooling over these bling-bling stars!

I’m getting these cute little bling stars on my tree and make my guest’s eyes glued to them.

I almost completed my purchasing of stars, while which these plain stars minus the colors caught my eye. Confused between the two, I decided to take the both :D (a little more bling to the tree)

Oh and did you know? Felt Christmas theme is back. The sole reason of this come back might be due to the authenticity and the meaning it brings to this season (perhaps! This is my pure assumption). My little cousins are coming over for Christmas, and I was wondering how to keep them entertained and occupied. Then it stuck me, I could use this beautiful craft to bond with them better. I’m planning to give them interesting ideas to weave right from cute little socks, cakes, ginger bread, to stars.

My darling (devil) cousins also asked me if they could have their own little tree for decoration. Why not?? So, to give them an interesting twist, I planned to buy these cute little handcrafted animals from EarthStore.

I thought the birds can also be nice along with those, So picked these ones too

The work schedules and other schedules are simply erratic with everyone coming over, demanding a lot of planning. If I could not push in my Robert Frost poem look, I’m going to squeeze in the traditional red and white look (the savior) which can NEVER go wrong and bring back the warm and cozy feel of the golden days.

The major twist to all these, is my lighted Desi Indian candles across the house.

Aaaaah, so these are the few ideas which stuck my mind, feel free give more suggestions to make me achieve my mission.
